Create Success-With Whatever You Have! 7 Practices for Creating What Matters Most In Life & Work

The following article pertains to personal growth. It is a good read I hope you enjoy it and find great use of the practices within.

Create Success-With Whatever You Have! 7 Practices for Creating What Matters Most In Life & Work
Copyright © 2006-2007 Bruce Elkin

Have you heard about the stranger in New York who wanted to visit
Carnegie Hall?

When no one would stop to give him directions, he approached a
man carrying a violin case.

"Sir," he asked, "what's the best way to get to Carnegie
Hall?"

Jascha Heifetz, one of the world's finest violinists, leaned
forward, tapped the visitor on the chest, and said, "There is
only one way to get to Carnegie Hall-practice, practice,
practice!"

SEVEN PRACTICES FOR CREATING ALMOST ANYTHING

These 7 practices are no magic formula. But they will help you
create outstanding results-with whatever you start with.

1. Create a clear, compelling vision of what you want to create.

Focus on the result you want to create.

"Lose weight," becomes "A lean, athletic body."

"Quit smoking," becomes "A non-smoker with clean, healthy
lungs."

"Get out debt," become "$10,000 per month doing what I
love."

It's fine to start with concepts such as "success," or "a
better business." However, power comes from focusing concepts
into visions. Picture the specifics of what you want to create.

What would it look like if you were successful? How would your
business be better?

Which is more compelling? The concept, "A new car," or the
vision, "A candy-apple red, Miata convertible with a black top,
beige leather seats, and a six-speaker Alpine CD system?"

Vision does not have to be realistic; it has to be what you truly
want. So, stretch for what matters; let your aspirations soar.
Grounding vision in reality is the next step.

2. Assess Reality Accurately and Objectively

Vision by itself has little power. Unless it is grounded in
reality, it is wishful thinking.

You need to know your destination AND starting point. If you
want to go to Denver, and think you are in LA but are actually in
Boston, you will not succeed.

Judging it reality distorts it. For example, we say,
"Everything is screwed up," when only a part is not going well.
Or, "Everything is great," when it isn't. Distorting reality
creates a shaky foundation for action.

The key is to describe reality accurately and objectively.
Instead of "Everything is screwed up," say, "This part is not
working; the rest is."

Describing reality establishes a solid foundation for successful
action.

3. Hold Vision and Reality Together to Set Up Creative Tension

Holding vision and reality together sets up a gap out of which a
useful, creative tension emerges. Creative tension is the engine
of creating.

It replaces the emotional tension and generates the energy to
move from where you are to where you want to be.

Imagine a rubber band stretched between Vision and Current
Reality. The tension in it can resolve in three ways.

Let go of your vision and give up your goals.

Lower your vision and compromise your goals.

Or hold vision firmly and change reality so you move toward the
result you want to create.

Holding vision and reality together sets up an organizing
framework in which you can experiment, learn from experience, and
shape results.

Your job is to resolve creative tension by making choices and
taking actions that support your results.

4. Take Small Steps. Create and adjust.

Many of us are closet perfectionists. We demand first steps be
perfect. So, either we give up when we falter, or fear of
failing prevents us from getting started.

To get started, take small steps. Work backward from vision to
first steps by asking, "Can I do this today?" If you can't do
it, ask, "What must I do first?"

If your vision is to be fit enough to run a half-marathon but you
get winded walking up stairs, you obviously can't do it today.
So what must you do first?

Build an aerobic base. Can you do that today? No. What must
you do first?

Use the questions to work back to small, easy steps you can do
today. Taking them increase confidence, builds momentum, and
helps you stretch toward larger steps.

5. Build Momentum

Momentum is more important than motivation. It generates energy
that keeps you going when motivation fades. If you get stuck, or
things don't go well, try this:

1. Notice what is happening and what you say about it, others,
and yourself.

2. Does what you say support what you want? Is it true? Is it
accurate and objective? If it isn't, make it so.

3. Then ask, "What DO I want?" Envision your result fully
completed.

4. Choose whatever action occurs to you and try it.

5. Keep trying-create and adjust-until you complete the result.

Like rocking a car, you can use this technique to get unstuck
when you are angry, frustrated, depressed, or facing adversity.
It shifts your focus from problem solving to creating. It flips
your mood from negative to energetic.

Most important, it keeps you moving and builds momentum toward
results.

6. Practice, Practice, Practice!

Few of us are born with the skills and talent to achieve our
visions. But we are learners. We can try, adjust our actions,
and practice until the new becomes natural.

Practice may not make you perfect, but it will make you better.
The road to success always runs through better.

One of my clients wanted to be a "Great public speaker." But,
because she judged she was "not good," she felt bad and didn't
practice. I helped her see she "wasn't good, yet." I also
helped her see that, instead of demanding she be good, she'd do
better to focus on getting better. In no time, she was making
money as a speaker.

Making success an all or nothing jump often leaves you with
nothing.

7. Know When You Reach Your Goal

It's not enough to say, "I want to be successful." Without
guidelines for judging results, you are like a dog chasing its
tail, seeking success but never knowing when you achieve it.

To harness creating's power, you need to know when you've
completed your creation. This is why vision is best when it's
specific. Assess your result against the specifics and see if it
matches. If it doesn't, keep working at it. If it does,
you're done. =Celebrate.

Completing a creation generates new energy you can use to
initiate new creations.

So finish fully and celebrate your success. Then, start on your
next result. Success builds on success.

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it," Goethe
advised, "Boldness has genius, power and magic in it."

So why not be bold. Stretch for what matters-with whatever you
have. Then, practice these techniques, and see if you don't
create the great results you long for.

The Best Way To Generate Free Targeted Website Traffic

If you have a website or you promote someone else's' website as an affiliate, you need to drive traffic to it.

Without traffic, you won't get visitors. And without visitors, you won't make money, sales, get subscribers, etc. What good is a website without any traffic? And if the site is getting traffic, what good is it if it's not targeted traffic?

There are many ways to drive traffic to your site, both free and paid. But we are not going to talk about paid traffic right now. That is a totally different topic and could take hours to cover.

So, back to free traffic. Some ways of getting free traffic to your site is by Search Engine Optimization, surfing for traffic, or getting it passively.

SEO takes time and a lot of work. When you join sites that are surf for traffic sites, you have to look at other members' sites in order to earn advertising credits for your site to be displayed when another member is surfing.

The only problem with this is that although the traffic is free, it is not targeted. Everyone who is a member only surfs for the credit and very rarely even looks at the site, they just minimize their window on their PC and multi-task. So, the traffic is crap and worthless.

Now, let's talk about the best way to get free targeted traffic. It's called Instant Buzz. Instant Buzz is a service that gives you advertising credits as you surf the web like you normally would. What you do is download the toolbar for free, it only takes a minute. Then, you set up your ads in the members area. And bam, you ads are being displayed on other members' tool bars as they surf.

Click here to get Free Targeted Website Traffic

You can also put Instant Buzz ads in emails that you send to your friends. These are called mail space ads. And your ad will get displayed in other members' emails. The last thing you can do is put a hyperspace ad on your website which will help you refer other members.

When you refer other members, you will also get a percentage of the credits they earn which will go towards your ad credits.

If someone likes your ad and is interested in what it says, then they click on it and end up on whatever site it was that you were promoting. Now that's targeted traffic! And it was free.

So make sure you visit the link in the resource box to start driving targeted and quality traffic to your website today. It will only take you a couple of minutes to start bringing visitors to your site.

Leisure Audio is working for me as I write!

I recently became a member of Leisure Audio Books,
and I want to share my humble opinion with you today.

This is like nothing I have ever experienced before,
I was shocked to find that is totally unique, never
seen before, and I believe it to be revolutionary,
and I'll explain why.

In my past experience, you join a typical program,
they give you some cheesy promo tools, and they never
say a word to you, they just expect you to go out
and recruit as best you can on your own...

This is totally and utterly different.

First of all, the products rock, there's a huge selection
of topics on virtually any niche you can think of...
all delivered in licenced .wma or Real format, so anyone
with a computer, an iPod, or mp3 player can instantly
enjoy these fine audio books, at their leisure...

Second, you don't have to recruit, to earn nice money, you
can simply sell these real products to real people, and they
will be glad to have them to listen to...

Third, the commissions you can earn, are much higher
than normal, and I really like that.

Fourth, it's so easy to set up a website and dominate
any niche you choose, because the training is so good,
it makes it easy to get started right away.

Fifth, I don't have any of the order filling problems,
of offering a real product, Leisure Audiobooks, has it
handled, for me. Lucky me;~)

With Leisure Audio Books, I feel completely at ease
offering anyone high quality high fidelity products and
the diversity is astounding! They have over 6000 titles
meticulously sorted into 160 categories in a feature- packed store.

I had no idea know that there are at least 50,000 identifiable
niche markets that can be independently addressed in the search
engines for audio books! I do know now and I am out there selling...
and for the first time it is working!!!

Plus it's a huge relief to have the experts, Rod and Kevin
helping me succeed, I almost feel like I have a huge
"cheat" over everyone else, because I'm a part of a caring
organization, who really coach, and really train, and really
want me, and you, to succeed, no matter what the skill level.

So, I would have to sum it up like this, if you're tired of
an endless line of hype, smoke and mirrors, and you'd like
to gain traction, start making a financial difference in
your family's lifestyle, and have a legitimate, honest, real
way to make money online...you owe it to yourself to check
out Leisure Audio Books.

Don't believe me, I'm a happy member, and of course I'm biased,
so do a check on Rod and Kevin, and I'm sure you'll find the
truth is that they are for real, and these are great products
that virtually sell themselves.

I recommend that you see for yourself - GO RIGHT NOW, and take
in the information presented on the website.

How To Avoid Home Business Scams

Anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that all those too good to be true solicitation e-mails and ads you see in the margins of high traffic websites for making thousands of dollars a week with no effort through a home based internet business can’t be for real. Yet there are still thousands upon thousands of people every year whose dreams of easy cash, early retirement and free living override their common sense and encourage them to invest in these home business scams. That’s why I'm offering a simple tip for avoiding home business scams that can ultimately save you a lot of money, not to mention heartache and frustration.

Do your homework!

The most obvious of tips for avoiding home business scams is to do your homework. For every home business scam floating around out there in cyberspace, there is someone who’s tried it and ended up bitter and disgruntled when they never received the tens of thousands of dollars in easy money they were promised. There are entire websites and blogs dedicated to exposing these fraudulent home business opportunities and providing tips for avoiding home business scams like it so that no one else ends up getting ripped off by crappy snake oil that doesn’t really work. So when one of these promising opportunities comes through your inbox and you get that little urge inside to give it a try, do a Google search for a few of the key phrases or the main concept and see what others who have already paid the entry fee to try it have to say about the opportunity. Try to look for testimonials on third party objective websites. It’s not a good idea to believe the testimonials on the websites of the opportunities themselves.

As far as other tips for avoiding home business scams are concerned, there are a multitude of resources all over the Internet that list which opportunities are scams and which ones have real income potential. Truly the best of the best tips for avoiding home business scams I can offer is to trust your instinct. If that voice inside is telling you the promises are too good to be true, then listen to that voice and trust your instinct.

To your success,

Sean Babb

Balancing Home and Work, for Home Business

With so many young people trying to work from home on the Internet it is amazing just how many of them really do not have the slightest idea, of the workload they have gotten themselves into. Many of these people did not even sit down and assess what it is that they see as a reasonable personal goal. This is a huge mistake on their part. You must know what you want in order to find a way to obtain it. It must be clear to everyone willing to jump into the Internet marketing world; if you are not sure whether or not you have drive and a willingness to succeed you might want to save yourself some money and much aggravation. It is easy to want something, and you may know how you have to get it. There is this little issue about dedication and determination do you have it? Why put yourself through the troubles of failing and wondering exactly where you went wrong.

The great Winston Churchill once said, “If you find yourself walking through hell, just keep going”. This idea of the struggles people face, in business and in life is just that. Struggles, the winners will survive and the weak will fall. This has been a true facet in life since the beginning of time. Basically staying power in the Internet marketing business is about keeping your face off the pavement.

They also do not get the fact that because it is their business, and not someone else’s responsibility that they in turn will have to work probably much harder to keep it going. When these people hear the nonsense about working 1 hour per week and striking it rich, I truly feel sorry for their heads and wallets when they inevitably re enter the earth’s atmosphere, and hit the ground with a screeching halt. Again this may be nothing more than naivety. And not total stupidity. The unfortunate part for most people new to the scene is that they have absolutely no idea just what it entails on a time basis. What must be remembered is that success cannot be bought in a can. It is the single marketing plan and strategy that is doomed to fail. You must be able to walk many avenues in order to reap the benefits of the successes it can yield. Buy into what you feel truly will get you ahead, listen to what other marketers are saying in the forums and try to catch on quick. This field is extremely fast and waits for no one. The best way to do business is to spread out your resources as much as possible; the best way for exposure is to be out in the middle of the field.

To your success,

Sean Babb

Creating a Business Plan to Start An Online Business

You want to start an online business but you don't know where to
begin. Do you have an idea that no one has ever seen? Perhaps
you've got a new idea on an old thing. Whatever it may be, you
need to have a plan of action. You need to have a business plan.

A business plan consist of a business summary, a list of goals
or objectives to be accomplished by the business, and a marketing
plan.

The business summary is a brief discription of the business in
question. It is also an integral part of the overall plan.

The marketing plan will address all the details of the business.
A few things are taken into consideration when developing the
marketing plan.

-Target market
-Competition
-Advertising
-Pricing
-Payment method
-Shipping

Determine your target market. The target market is comprised of
the type of people that you would want to be visiting your new
website.

Research your competition. Choose a product or service that is
either unique or useful to other people. Now that you have chosen
a product. Visit other websites that offer similiar products or
services. Check out the prices on the other sites and see what
marketing strategies they are using. See what you like or dislike
and if you can improve on any of them.

Choose your advertising strategy. There are many options to
advertising a business online and you should be prepared to spend
some money on them. I'm not going to go into the details of each
option here but rather give a brief list of the methods.

->Pay-per-click (PPC) programs. Just as the name says, you place
a link or banner to your site and only pay for those who click
the link or banner.

->Pay-per-lead programs. Similiar to PPC but you pay for leads
or subscribers.

->Ezine advertising. The practice of advertising in ezines has
become very popular. Ezines are the magazines of the Internet
which focus on a particular topic.

->Opt-in email or Safe list. This is a great way to advertise
but can be very expensive and is easily misused.

->Submit to search engines. Educate yourself on search engines
and how they work. Just as each search engine is different, they
also operate in different ways.

When pricing your product, you want to check the competition and
see what their similiar products are selling for. You don't want
to undersell your product too much because very low prices make
people think that a product is of low quality. On the other hand
overpricing can also scare potential customers away.

Think about what type of payment you will accept. If you decide
to use a merchant account or third party processing, you should
be prepared to accept credit cards. You can also decide if you
will accept checks or money orders.

Determine the shipping method. You should decide on how your
product will be shipped and have the details noted on your site.

Now that you have your business plan, you can start your journey
to online success knowing that you have thoroughly thought out
and planned for your online business.

Meat and Potatoes Of An Online Business

There seams to be a great misconception that a lot of people have.
Believe it or not, people actually believe that they can come
online and quit their job in a week.

Let's face it, it doesn't happen that way. If you're serious
about being your own boss and leaving the traditional 9-5, there
are a few things that you need.

You need to have patience. It takes time to make money online.
There's no magical piece of jewelry, pill or beans.

You need to be persistent. It takes work to build a business
online as well as offline. You can't expect to start a business
today and be ready to retire next week.

You need to Test! You have to constantly test different
strategies and techniques.

You need a business plan. Put together a business plan and stick
to it! Now your business plan can change as time goes on but it
should never lose its target. Make a commitment to yourself and
to your business.

You've got to work hard for yourself in order to build a solid
business. Hard work today will lead to the rewards of tomorrow.

Three Critical Success Traits

Recently, I became a member of this new private web site, SecretsToTheirSuccess.com, that shares the Internet marketing secrets of real people, just like you and me, who are earning $100,000+ per year with their own Internet businesses.

Just to give you some background, I'll tell you that every month, this site shares two new real-life stories of successful "Mom & Pop" type sites, providing in-depth interviews with the site owners and asking really tough questions about the exact steps, strategies, tools, and software that these people have used to build and grow their sites to their current success.

For example, two success stories that I just finished checking out are:

Real-Life Case Study #1 — Robert Clark

See exactly how Robert Clark turned his $275 a week paycheck into a highly profitable online business that takes him only 2 hours each day to run... while earning him over $250,000 a year in profits!

Real-Life Case Study #2 — Ken Calhoun

Ken grossed over $98,000 in sales with his Internet business in 2000 (his first full year online) and then tripled his sales to earn over $300,000 last year almost all of it profit, all from his beachfront condo in Hawaii.

... as well as many other "real people" just like you and me who are creating a fortune on the Internet!

If you'd like to check out these success stories for yourself right now, and personally discover these "No BS" examples of real people making real money on the Internet, then click here now to get the exact step-by-step details of how they're doing it!

Obviously, reading these interviews is a really powerful way to guarantee the success of your own web site, because you're getting a personal insider's tour of real sites, run by real people, that are making real money!

Anyway, as I was reading through the latest success stories, I couldn't help but notice that, despite dramatic differences in the business models they use and the products and services they sell, these successful web site owners all share three common "success traits" that played a major role in growing their online sales to $100,000 to $600,000 a year...

Success Trait #1:

First of all, one of the reason's why they're sooooo successful NOW is because they didn't let their lack of knowledge stop them. Despite the fact that many of them had no computer experience, never mind experience using the Internet -- and despite the fact that many had never owned a business before -- they just plain got started and didn't worry about making everything "perfect" the first time.

Remember, I'm not talking about rocket-scientists here. These are regular people, like you and me, who started running their web sites out of their own homes and are now making $100,000 to $600,000 a year with their sites.

And believe it or not, almost all of them were making a profit from day-one! Sure, they weren't all making buckets of cash right away; but their profits increased quickly as they continued to improve on what they started with.

Success Trait #2:

I've already mentioned that these successful web site owners didn't worry about making everything "perfect" right away. And this is important, because rather than overload themselves by trying to become Internet marketing gurus BEFORE they got started, they just dove in and focused on one marketing strategy at a time, working extremely hard to maximize their profits with one strategy before moving onto the next.

This is a trait that really amazed me because even though these successful web site owners are earning substantial incomes from their web sites, they ALL talk about how they plan to snowball their profits and sales even more by strategically adding another strategy... and another strategy... and another strategy... to their web sites, one at a time.

Success Trait #3:

Interestingly, the one point that kept coming up again and again, sometimes two or three times in a single interview, was that all of these successful site owners confess they could have been earning a MUCH bigger income MUCH faster had they only avoided the costly mistakes started educating themselves sooner.

And that's probably the most critical trait these success stories share -- they've all committed to educating themselves about the most profitable marketing strategies and techniques.

In fact, I could literally go on for pages and pages reeling off the hundreds of invaluable marketing strategies, techniques, tools, and software recommendations that these people share in their interviews, based on their own real-life experiences and commitment to educating themselves.

However, I know it will mean much more when you hear, straight from the horse's mouth, these...

"No BS" Examples Of Real People Making
Real Money
on the Internet...

If you want to automatically skip the failing promotions, and start learning the tested, proven strategies that real businesses have already proven to be enormously successful, then I'd highly recommend that you visit http://www.SecretsToTheirSuccess.com to take a private tour of "Mom & Pop" web sites that earn $100,000 to $600,000 a year and discover the exact step-by-step strategies they have personally used to generate these massive profits!

You will instantly be exposed to extremely successful netrepreneurs like...

Real-Life Case Study #3 — Andy Bryant

Andy's site is generating an impressive $50,000 in sales per month... and even Andy's a bit surprised to discover that his $600,000 a year online income is the result of his own self-proclaimed vain quest to reverse his own hairloss!

Real-Life Case Study #4— Ellen Cagnassola

Ellen is a work-at-home mom who produces homemade, personalized glycerin soaps. Starting Your Own Affiliate Program

If you own a company you know how difficult it can be to drive traffic to your website in the early stages of development. At some points you probably feel that you have no chances of surviving because you are not getting any customers to visit you online. If this sounds like a problem you are having, there is a solution that you can look into implementing. Starting an affiliate program may be just what you need to increase the level of traffic that your website is currently getting. Even though these programs can be difficult to set up, it will be well worth it in the end.

There are a couple of steps that you must take when starting your own affiliate program.

1. The first thing that you must do is decide the goals of your affiliate program. In other words, you want to determine what kind of results you are chasing after. By having an idea of what you want to accomplish, you will be able to follow the correct path to success.

2. After you have your goals outlined, you must set forth the details of your program. Every affiliate program works in different ways, and you are going to have to do some research in order to figure out which method will be most effective. The first decision that you will have to make is whether you are going to compensate your affiliates on a pay per click or pay per sale basis. Then you will also have to make a decision on how much commission you are going to pay. In most cases this is what most people will look at when deciding whether or not your affiliate program is worth while. After all, everybody wants to make more money.

3. When you have all the details ironed out, you will then need to set up the actual program. If you do not have experience in this industry you will want to hire a professional to help you out. In order to have a successful affiliate program you will need to have a tracking system in place. This is a way of tracking the number of visitors that your affiliates send you. Without a tracking system you will never know who to pay or where your traffic is coming from.

Starting your own affiliate program is one of the best ways to market your company. Even though this method of promotion can be a bit more difficult to set up than others, the results that you can obtain will make everything worth while. If you have never set up one of these programs you might want to consider it. And if you don’t know where to start, obtaining the help of a professional is the best thing to do.

To your success,

Affiliate Marketing as A Home Internet Business

Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways for home business owners to promote their companies. But at the same time, affiliate marketing is a great way for anybody to start a home based business. So as you can see, affiliate marketing works from both sides of the business world. If you have never heard of this sort of marketing technique you are not alone. Generally speaking, it has just become popular among the masses over the past couple of years. And even though there are a lot of people that are using this technique, there are still many more that are out in the dark.

The most common reason that people do not get started in affiliate marketing is because they are not aware of what it entails. They are afraid to give it a shot because they simply think that it will be a waste of time. The good thing is that affiliate marketing is not hard to understand. The basic definition is that affiliate marketing is a method of promoting websites in a way that affiliates are rewarded for sending visitors or customers to other sites. As far as affiliate marketing is concerned, compensation varies depending on the type of program that you are involved with. In some cases you will get paid or have to pay for each visitor that you send or receive. In other cases, compensation is based purely on customers buying products or services.

If you are looking for a way to promote your home business, affiliate marketing can help. What you will do is find affiliates that are willing to promote your site to others for you. The good thing about this is that you do not have to pay them unless they meet the specifications that are set forth; this usually includes pay per click, or pay per sale. This means that you will get a lot of promotion without having to do any work on your own. Most people prefer pay per sale programs because they will never have to pay out any money unless they get a sale.

On the other side of things, there are many people that make a living by affiliate marketing. The way this is done is by getting involved with as many programs as possible. You can then set up different websites that will drive traffic to your affiliate’s sites. When this happens, you will get paid!

Affiliate marketing as a home internet business is a great way to get promotion. You do not have to be one of those people that overlook this option because it sounds too complicated. Affiliate marketing is worth a shot. Who knows, it may be all you need to take your earnings to the next level!

Getting Started With Your Own Online Business

Every year, personal computer and notebook computer sales continue to skyrocket. Many people are upgrading their computer systems, and many more are buying their first computer for the home.

A strong number of the people buying their very first computer are doing so because they hope to tap into the wealth that is being created everyday online.

If you are starting an online business or you already have one, the large numbers of people coming online could potentially be your future clients. New customers are everywhere; we only need to take the steps to bring them to us and to help them decide to use our products or services.

THE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF A SUCCESSFUL ONLINE BUSINESS

1.You must have a storefront selling products or services.
2.You must take steps to bring potential customers to your storefront.

STOREFRONTS COME IN ALL SHAPES AND SIZES

People have generated incredible successes in nearly every online business format. So, I am not going to argue that you need to be selling a service or selling a product.

Creating your own programs (selling your own products and services) can be very profitable. But, for every person that succeeds in creating their own products and services, there are probably another hundred people who are making a comfortable living selling other people’s products and services.

There are various methods available to people, which help them to sell other people’s products and services:

1)Affiliate Marketing
2)Network Marketing
3)Paid Advertising Programs
4)Wholesale Programs
5)Reseller Programs

AFFILIATE MARKETING

Generally, with an affiliate program, someone will sign up to be able to sell someone else’s product or service. The seller’s website will provide the affiliate with a selling webpage that looks like the rest of the seller’s sales pages.

The seller website will set up a cookie in their visitor’s browser when the customer visits their site. If the customer used the affiliate’s version of the sales page, then the seller’s website will record the affiliate’s ID in the cookie. When the customer completes the transaction, the seller’s website will pull the cookie information to see which affiliate should get the credit for the transaction. Then the seller credits the affiliate’s account with the promised sales commission.

NETWORK MARKETING

Network marketing is an expansion upon the affiliate marketing idea. With network marketing, when you sign up, you become a part of a larger network of sales persons. Generally, the seller will pay commissions to their people through several levels of individuals.

The person who brought you into the program will earn a commission on your sales, and the person immediately above that person will also receive a commission. And of course, you will also receive a commission.

Network marketing programs pay commissions over several levels, so that the people who brought you into the program will have the incentive to help you to be successful also.

PAID ADVERTISING PROGRAMS

All the rage these days, the Google Adsense program (adsense.google.com) is one of many programs that are available where the advertiser pays the provider for traffic, and the provider shares click revenue with the webmaster who generated the click.

People everywhere are throwing up informational content websites that are intended to carry one of these paid advertising programs with them.

WHOLESALE PROGRAMS

With the wholesale programs, you as the business owner are just like the Main Street USA businessperson. You will buy a product at a reduced wholesale cost and hold that product in inventory until you have sold it and delivered it to your customer. Many times, in order to get the reduced wholesale price, you must buy those products in quantity.

RESELLER PROGRAMS

As with the wholesale programs, you are reselling a product or service that you have acquired from a third-party. And like a wholesale program, you are in charge of everything from copywriting, pre-sales communications, transaction processing, and customer service.

STOREFRONTS OVERVIEW

Each of these types of storefronts has certain advantages and disadvantages.

With the first three types, you will not have to get involved with the sometimes complex technical tasks associated with the website design and payment processing systems on your website. With the latter two, you are responsible for your own payment processing systems, although you can usually utilize a third-party provider to deliver the actual money transfer.

BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION

Every person who seeks to build a successful online business will have to engage themselves in the process of bringing visitors to their storefront.

Although the affiliate and network marketing programs provide a sales page for you to use to pass on to your customers, it is actually recommended that you set up your own domain with at least one page of content and your own introduction to the programs you want to promote.

These days, you can register a domain for under $5, and you can host that site for less than $10 per month.

The primary reason why you want to set up your own domain is because if you are setting up any long-term advertising systems, then it is better to promote a website that you own and control. Who knows, the day may come when you want to shift your primary focus away from what you are promoting today to something that you feel could be more profitable down the road. If you have built most of your long-term advertising around someone else’s website, then you are stuck supporting their program, no matter how unprofitable it might be to you.

ATTRACTING CUSTOMERS

There are many advertising methods available online including search engine marketing, direct email, publishing an ezine, ezine advertising, article marketing, press releases, classified advertising, paid inclusion advertising models, participating in online forums and using your signature to advertise for you, and many more methods that I will not mention here.

Some of these methods are free, some are cheap, and some are pricey. In most cases, the cost associated with these advertising mediums often represent the ability of those mediums to work towards helping you generate an traffic and sales.

Whatever methods you decide to use, you must absolutely track the results that you generate from each method. You want to be able to earn as much back from your advertising, as you put into your advertising. Under ideal circumstances, all of your advertising will be profitable, but testing will show that some methods and venues work better than others. It is up to you to do the testing and tracking to figure out which advertising method and venue permits you to generate the best return for your money.

The systems are available for all of us to make money online, but it is up to you to navigate through the winners and losers to find your own specific formula for success. One you have established your own formula for success, you should follow your basic formula so that you can continue to grow your business well into the future.

History of Herbal Medicine

Herbal Medicine is the use of botanicals (plants) either singularly or in combination to prevent and treat certain ailments and illnesses.

People native to different geographical locations have long used plants and plant extracts to cure specific maladies. Sometimes referred to as “folk” medicine, it is generally recognized that there are three schools of research one can follow with regard to the history of these treatments.

There is the study of medicines based on Greek, Roman and medieval sources which is largely used by Western schools of thought, Ayurvedic which comes from India and the Eastern tradition of Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Rather than separation, these different schools of thought provide more commonality than division.

It stands to reason that most ancient peoples used plants that were native to their geographical location which provides sound reasoning as to why different schools of thought exist.

All three of these modalities at one time included both philosophical and spiritual aspects along with the scientific knowledge that existed within a specific time frame. While we are not here to render opinion, one fact does remain. The same study that determined one third of Americans used alternative therapies, the same number surveyed showed a dramatic increase in positive results to more than 60% when “prayer” was included in the mix.

Ayurvedic loosely translates to “knowledge of life.”

Dating back to more than 6,000 years ago, Ayurvedic Medicine practiced not just Herbal Medicine, but some of the earliest surgical procedures as well as inoculation.

Over the years Ayurvedic Medicine became increasingly more symptomatic as opposed to treating the root cause of disease which originally was steeped in strengthening the immune system.

With all our so-called advancements in the medical field, it’s interesting that physicians are still treating “effect” rather than “cause.” The old adage that, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” could not be more true. This is especially true when it comes to natural remedies.

Most natural remedies are botanical. Singularly or in combination, the numbers of herbs available is astounding.

Sincerely,

Sean Babb

Identifying Some Common Herbs and Their Uses

Most natural remedies are botanical. Due to the many different botanicals and combinations, I will help you to identify the most common and their uses. These should not be considered as the only use for a specific herb.

To avoid any confusion I will only be using the "common name" and not the latin name of these herbs.

Agar Agar- An algae from seaweed, it is a gelatinous natural thickener and is a natural laxative.

Agrimony- A valuable remedy for the digestive system that stimulates the digestive and liver secretions. It is also the herb of choice for appendicitis. Agrimony also treats incontinence, sore throats and laryngitis. As a salve it will aid in healing wounds and bruises.

Alder Tree- Use the leaves for swelling. It is especially helpful in easing pain from swollen breast or burning and aching feet. This herb should be avoided if pregnant.

Alfalfa- A highly nutritive herb, good for the pituitary gland, it alkalizes the body rapidly and detoxifies the liver. It is essential in rebuilding decayed teeth and helps with arthritic and rheumatic pain.

Aloes- Such as Aloe Vera, are good for burns. While this is a well known treatment, what you may not know is that aloes are also helpful in treating cancer and stomach ailments.

Angelica- Use both the root and seed. Roots and leaves are used medicinally, the stems and seeds are used inconfectionery. This herb is a useful expectorant for coughs, bronchitis and pleurisy, especially when they are accompanied by fever, colds or influenza.

Aniseed- Use the dried fruit. The strong oil in Aniseed provides the basis for its internal use to ease griping, intestinal colic and flatulence. It also has an expectorant and anti-spasmodic action and may be used in bronchitis, in tracheitis where there is persistent irritable coughing, and in whooping cough. The oil itself can be the base for an ointment to help control lice and the can be used directly in the control of lice.

Apple Tree- Use the bark to create a tonic that will treat gravel in the bladder and also aid in reducing fever.

Arnica- Not to be taken internally, this is an excellent treatment for bruises and sprains. Will also help relieve rheumatic pain as well as pain and inflammation of phlebitis.

Arrowroot- Use as a demulcent and nutritive food for urinary and bowel infections in infants and invalids in convalescence.

Astragalus- Widely used in Chinese Medicine, it boosts the immune system. Use for anything from the common cold to aid in cancer treatment.

Balm- Also known as Lemon Balm, Sweet Balm or Melissa. Using the green leaves and flowers, balm is a natural deterrent to perspiration, will also bring boils to a head, is useful for stings and toothache as well as flatulence and digestion.

Balm of Gilead- Also known as Poplar buds and Balsam Poplar. Bark and leaves are used to alleviate discomfort of cold coughs, kidney and lung trouble. The buds can also be used as a tea for gargling making it an excellent remedy for sore throats, coughs and laryngitis.

Balmony- Known as Bitter Herb, Snake Head, Turtle Head or Turtle Broom. Used in the treatment of eczema and is also good for the liver and stomach. It stimulates the appetite, eases colic, dyspepsia and billiousness and is helpful in debility. Also used in the treatment of gall stones, inflammation of the gall- bladder and in jaundice.

There is nothing in a plants makeup that tells us what would be its best use. There are over half million known herbs that could be used as possible remedies.

All the best,

Sean Babb

10 Reasons For Improving Your Reading Speed

The invention of television has resulted to more people turning to the idiot box for their education and entertainment needs. The proliferation of home movies has discouraged more and more people from reading. Despite this, reading remains a very important factor in the acquisition of knowledge.

While watching and listening to audio and video programs continue to influence people from all walks of life, it cannot be denied that reading remains an important aspect of one's daily life. Believe it or not, an adult spends at least an hour a day for reading. Everybody is faced with the task of reading something, from the morning newspapers, to one's phone or power bills, to memos in the office or letters that are sent through snail mail or through emails.

Despite constant practice in reading books, newspapers, computer articles and other reading materials, it is sad to note that the average reader only has a reading speed of 200 to 300 words per minute, with a comprehension rate of 50 to 60 percent. Experts attribute this to numerous reading problems.

While others have a problem with subvocalization (which means reading the words internally or mentally), some people have the opposite problem of reading the words aloud. Both cause a delay in reading because the readers still has to wait for the word to be heard, either mentally or through the ears, before he comprehends the word.

Re-reading is also one of the common problems that hinder fast reading. This means that the reader reads a word or group of words more than once.

The problem with faulty fixations is also a common problem that delays reading speed. A reader with fixation problem has a tendency to stare at a word longer before proceeding to the next series of words. While those with fixation problems tend to linger at a word, those with concentration problems could not concentrate on what is being read.

Reading is a skill that relies on the coordination between the mind and the eyes. Just like a person's skill in walking, one's reading skill can be improved through several methods. If you want to improve your reading skills, then you must set your goals and target. First, take a speed reading test, and then determine your comprehension rate. To get your reading efficiency rate, multiply your reading speed and your comprehension rate. Goal setting allows you to focus on what you want to achieve, where you are and where you want to go.

To develop faster reading skills, you must first know the purpose of your reading. A leisurely reading of a book or a magazine need not be under time pressure but people usually read lifestyle article faster than serious and technical books.

Since serious books require serious reading, you must first familiarize yourself with the reading material. Check for blurbs or summaries at the back of the book as this may give you a general view of what the book is all about. It will also do you good to check out one or two reviews about the book, the number of chapters and pages and whether or not the author used pictures or diagrams, for easy reading and comprehension.

But why do you have to go through all this just so you can increase your reading speed? What's in it for you? In other words, what is the motivation for speed reading?

1. Speed reading makes reading more fun and less cumbersome. If you can read fast, then you can instantly get to the point that the author is getting to.

2. Learn new things at lesser amount of time. One of the motivations behind reading is one's thirst for knowledge. With speed reading, you will be able to explore new horizons in a short span of time.

3. Higher grades for students of whatever level. Students usually get more reading materials as they are required to submit reviews, papers and other assignments almost everyday. An increased reading speed will not only mean lesser time for doing assignments. It will also enable the students to have a more enjoyable educational experience.

4. Efficient job performance. Office workers usually get their share of reading materials from emails, reports and other office correspondence. A worker who can read faster will be able to finish his job on time. This means he can do more work, or he can spend more time for rest or personal improvement activities.

5. Spend extra time for other activities. With a faster reading speed, you will be able to finish reading your assignments, reports and letters faster. With this, you will have more time for housework, sports, or any activity you have in mind.

6. Increase competence in other aspects. A fast reader would be able to absorb reading materials faster, thus enabling him to grasp new ideas faster.

7. Increase in confidence and self esteem. An increased reading speed can result to more self confidence because you know you are able to accomplish something which other people have trouble doing. Being ahead of the pack will improve your self esteem.

8. Better comprehension. Others believe that the faster you read, the lesser you understand. This is not true because studies have linked faster reading rate with increased comprehension. Being able to read word groups means being able to understand its contextual meaning.

9. Diversified knowledge. If you read fast, you can read other documents at lesser time. This means you will be able to get a variety of information in a short span of time. This will give you diversified knowledge.

10. Improvement in one's finances. If you can read faster than the ordinary guy, then you can finish your reading necessities in a short time. Thus, you will have more time to spend improving your financial status by reading how to books, business strategies and the likes.

Best wishes,

Information: A Top Seller

The internet was originally designed for information. It is still the place people turn to first when they need to know something. Despite the years and the amount of knowledge on the internet, there is room for more. Information is a hot commodity.

Selling information has a lot of advantages over selling other products. One of the more obvious advantages to selling information is that the same piece can be sold over and over again. It is even better than selling a book because you don't have to print anything. Your costs to write a piece of information is the same, whether you are selling it to one person or to millions.

*STOP!*

Are You at Risk?

If you currently sell information, your business may be at risk...

... Your visitors may be legally "stealing" from you!

Put an end to the legal "loophole" that could be costing YOU money.

find out how!

E-books are a popular way to sell information online. You can send your manuscript to several publishers, risking rejection letters with every one, or you can sell an ebook and never receive a rejection. There is very little cost involved, certainly a lot less than selling a product. Your biggest investment is your time.

Information sells in other formats, too. Many sites offer both free newsletters and subscription newsletters. The free newsletters are designed to hook the reader until he wants more and subscribes to the paid newletter. Often job sites will do this. Those who subscribe receive more job listings.

Information is the biggest seller on the internet. There are many ways to take advantage of this. Do some research to find the method that works best for you, and you may find you have an enjoyable way to make money.

To your success,

Low Cost Home Business Ideas

Home business can be expensive, but there are businesses that don't cost much to start. Here are a few ideas.

One inexpensive way to start a home business is to set up a website. The site can be used to sell a product or to give information. With an information site, you can make money by joining an affiliate program. Setting up a website can cost well under $100, and can even be free, but you will spend a lot of time marketing your site. If you know nothing about internet marketing, there are websites and books that can help.

Another home business idea on a budget is selling at online auctions. If you start small, the cost in both time and dollars is minimal. Begin with items you don't want around your house anymore, or buy a few items at garage sales. Sell a product you make if that appeals to you. Eventually you can connect with a wholesaler, possibly one who will dropship items. This takes away all the work of wrapping and shipping your products.

If you have typing skills, offer them to local businesses. Often there is a need, and businesses can get by cheaper paying you by the job than hiring an employee and paying benefits.

Consider tutoring on a subject you know well. This can be an academic subject or a creative subject, such as music. If you do this in your home you will have very little, if any, startup costs.

Think of what you know best and like to do best. Then find a way to offer these services or information to the public. Find a home business idea on your budget and start doing what you want to do.

All the best,

Sean Babb

Is Fat Friend or Foe In Your Weight Loss Battle?

Two out of three Americans are overweight. The primary cause is that we eat more and exercise less. There is no doubt that the more advances we make that enhance our lifestyle the heavier we become.

Wait a minute! What about all those low-fat foods that we eat now? How come I reduced fat in my diet but I’m still gaining weight?

It’s a simple answer. A few years ago we all became aware of the detrimental effects of fat in our diet. What did we do? We began to concentrate on lowering cholesterol and taking fat out of our diets.

This is a good thing. However, The National Center for Health Statistics studied eating habits of 8,260 adult American between 1988 and 1991. Their research showed that Americans had significantly reduced their fat intake but still packed on the pounds.

How can this happen? There is no mystery. In the process of counting fat grams, we stopped counting calories! Many of us bought in to the theory that if it is “low-fat” it won’t make us fat.

WRONG!

You can’t forget about counting calories. If you eat more calories than you need the body will store them as fat. It doesn’t matter whether the calories are from fat or carbohydrates.

One school of thought believes that eating small amounts of fat can actually keep you from over indulging on total calories. The theory is that dietary fat causes our bodies to produce a hormone that tells the intestines to slow down the emptying process.

You feel full and therefore are less likely to overeat.

Adding a little peanut butter to your rice cake may satisfy your hunger for a longer period of time, thus preventing you from eating more than you need.

Are you ready for more suprising news? Tufts University scientists put 11 middle aged men and women volunteers on a variety of average, reduced and low-fat diets.

The results? Extremely low-fat diets which provided only 15 percent fat from calories (this is a diet near impossible in real life) did have a positive effect on blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

However, a reduced-fat diet (much more realistic) only affected those levels if accompanied by weight loss.

In fact, they concluded, cutting fat without losing weight actually increased triglyceride levels and decreased high density lipoproteins (HDLs), the “good” cholesterol that helps protect again heart disease.

This tells us that, while excess fat isn’t healthy, fat is also not necessarily a bad thing. Without some fat in our diet, the body won’t make nerve cells and hormones or absorb some of the fat soluble vitamins.

To your continued success,

Sean Babb

How Can You Determine Your Ideal Weight?

Just how much fat and how many calories should you consume to reach and maintain a healthy weight? One answer won’t work for everybody. So you need to do some figuring to determine how much fat and how many calories you can have. First, you need to determine your ideal weight. Here is a simple method to determine what that weight should be:

For Women
The ideal weight for a woman who is exactly 5 feet tall is 100 pounds. For every additional inch above 5 feet, add five pounds. If you are shorter than 5 feet tall, subtract five pounds for every inch you measure below 5 feet.

Next, determine whether you have a small, medium or large frame. Using a measuring tape, measure your wrist.

If your wrist measures exactly 6 inches, you have a medium frame and the weight number you calculated above, does not need to be adjusted. If your wrist measures less than 6 inches, subtract 10 percent from your ideal weight. If your wrist measures more than 6 inches, add 10 percent to your ideal weight.

For Men
The ideal weight for a man who is exactly 5 feet tall is 106 pounds. For every additional inch above 5 feet, add 6 pounds.

To determine whether you have a small, medium or large frame, measure your wrist.

If your wrist measures exactly 7 inches, you have a medium frame and you do not need to adjust your ideal weight. If your wrist is smaller than 7 inches, you have a small frame and should subtract 10 percent from your ideal weight. If your wrist is larger than 7 inches, you have a large frame and should add 10 percent to your ideal weight.

Now that you know what your ideal body weight should be, let’s take a look at how many calories your body needs each day. Before we do this however, you need to take into account your level of activity.

-If you are totally inactive and usually get no exercise, multiply your adjusted ideal weight by 11.

-If you get regular exercise two or three times a week, multiply your adjusted ideal weight by 13.

-If you get regular exercise four to five times a week, multiple your adjusted ideal weight by 15.

-If you get regular exercise six to seven times a week, multiply your adjusted ideal weight by 18.

Now that you have figured out your ideal weight and how many calories you need each day it's easy to figure out how much fat you can eat.

Most nutritionists recommend a daily intake limit of fat to be 30 percent of your total calories. However, if you want to lose weight or have a history of heart disease or cancer, limit your daily fat intake to 20 percent of your total calories.

Why don't we have a look at a real life example.

Carol is a 5 foot 4 inch woman with a medium frame her ideal weight is 120 pounds. Carol is trying to lose weight so she needs to keep her fat calories down to about 20 percent. Carol is exercising two to three times a week so we can multiply her ideal weight by the number that matches her activity level, which is 13. We have determined that Carolneeds 1,560 calories each day.

If we take 20 percent of 1,560 (1,560 multiplied by .20) we get 312.

Next, translate fat calories into fat grams (this will make it easier for you to read food labels). One gram of fat equals 9 calories. So if we divide 312 by 9 we know that Carol can eat abut 35 grams of fat per day.

Because Carol is over weight and trying to lose, her ideal weight and current weight do not match up. Carol needs to adjust her total calorie consumption. In order for her to lose one pound, she needs to eliminate 3,500 calories.

One simple solution is to lose a pound a week. That’s a worthy, healthy goal that can be easily accomplished.

Best regards,

Sean Babb

How To get Information About Starting Your Own Business

Before quitting the full time job and hanging a shingle outside your door, you need to make sure you know all about running the business, and not just how to perform the function of the business that you plan to open. There is more to owning a carpet cleaning business than being the best carpet cleaner in the county. It is called a business because there are functions that need to be done beyond cleaning carpets.

Depending on the type of business you plan to get into there may be specific laws governing its operation and in some cases a state or county license may be needed to operate the business. Zoning laws may also be in place to prevent the operation of some business out of the home and planning to run the business from a stand-alone building you should also check to make sure the business can operate there as well. There are times that one type of business, an office building for example, may allow a bookkeeping service in the area, but zoning rules may consider your business not appropriate for the location.

Checking with local and county offices can help insure you have all the licenses and permits needed to operate the business before you get it started and find out it does not meet acceptable use clauses. Regardless of the business, you will need a license from the state to collect sales tax, sometimes referred to as a vendor’s license. Whether your business will be selling taxable products or services, the license is still necessary and you will need to file returns to show if, and how much sales tax you collected and make the payments.

Contacting your local Chamber of Commerce is an excellent source for information about starting your own business and their advice can keep you out of trouble with authorities that regulate business operations in your area. They may also advise you if different nearby communities have differing rules covering your type of business. Even non-members can take advantage of the information available through most Chambers of Commerce and they are always willing to help potential new members get their feet on the business ground.

For those planning to start a franchised business, there are many resources available to help you pick the right one for you as well as for the community in which you live. Most who buy a franchise do so based on the name recognition of the company and the information made available to them. While your interest level may be high, check with other franchisees of the same business for their opinions and get the real story about the pros and cons of running that business before making the investment.

How To Choose The Perfect Home Business Idea

A lot of people get stumped when it comes to choosing a home business. In some cases, people are confused as to what home business they will engage in that they either end up starting a few home businesses at the same time or never really start anything at all. In both cases, the entrepreneur does not gain anything of value. If you are of those people who have no idea what home business is right for you, you should first make an inventory of your skills and resources before you attempt to start any type of home business. Always remember that at home business is not something that will grow on its own so make sure that you know what you are doing if you do not want to end with lots of frustrations and no money.

Choose Something That You Are Familiar With

When it comes to choosing the perfect home business idea, it would be a good idea for you to focus your attention on the things that you are familiar with. For instance, if you are a computer programmer, it would be a good idea for you to explore the possibilities of engaging into a programming business. On the other hand, if you are one of those people who love to work with your hands, it would be a good idea for you to find a business that will put your creativity to good use. Never attempt to start a home business that requires certain skills that you do not have at the moment. Note that it is always easier for you to spot opportunities in a field that you are very much familiar with. Yes, you can always learn new skills but since learning new skills will take a lot of item, effort and money on your part, you might as well stick to the things that you already know and save yourself from a lot of trouble. There is really no point in going through all the troubles of learning new things when you can capitalize on the things that you already know.

Find The Softest Entry Point

When it comes to setting up your home business, you need to probe into a specific industry and find a “soft entry” point. For instance, if you are a writer and you would like to engage into online writing, it would be a good idea for you to start working on some non-paying or low-paying jobs for a while and build your portfolio. Once you have collected some impressive items in your portfolio, you can move on to those high paying jobs and earn some really good income. Take your time when it comes to setting up your small business. Always remember that business do not grow overnight so be patient. There may be times when money is scarce and your business will not do so well but if you are patient and work hard towards your goal, you will eventually achieve that goal.

To your success,

Brainstorming Home Business Ideas Before Starting One

Whenever a person considers beginning a home business it helps to think through the plans before investing any time and money into the project. Brainstorming home business opportunities before starting one can help ensure the business is one that the owner is capable of operating. Success hinges on many things, among them the dedication the owner is willing to give to make the business work as well as having a viable market for the product or service being proposed for the home business.

There is more involved in brainstorming than the cost of entering the business and how much time you can free up from working. Brainstorming entails thinking through all of the possibilities in the business and breaking them down into sections. For example, the first thing to consider is the market available for the business. For example, a person has been working with a carpet cleaning company for several years and wants to start their own business cleaning rugs. The first step is determining how much competition there is in the local area as opposed to the number of customers available that may require the service.

This can be determined by the amount of time between when a person calls for service and when the service is actually performed. Typically, a wait of three or four days will be acceptable for most people, but if the wait time is consistently longer, it may be something worth studying further. If not, staying with the current company or finding a new line of work may be in the best interests of everyone.

Consider the investment that will be required to start a home business and consider how much is needed to live on and cover all personal expenses until the business gets off the ground and starts to generate income. Brainstorm about who and where the first customers will come from. Simply planning advertising and direct mail campaigns may not provide a firm answer, rather personal contact with businesses and friends and family that may not your service can offer an insight about who and when you can expect to perform services for and provide the first paying customers.

Not only does this provide jobs to look forward to, but can also provide testimonials to show other potential customers that the business is legitimate and use them as references, with their permission. Additional brainstorming will be about who will do the paperwork, such as invoicing and bill paying and taxes for state and federal obligations. This is often overlooked by those new to business and they accept payments, use the money for their immediate personal needs and when the time comes to pay bills, the money is no longer available.

Think about the effect on your personal life as well as on the family. Whether it has been realized or not, when a person begins working their home business any decision made will affect more than just that person.

To your success,

Going Outside Of Your Comfort Zone To Start A Business

One of the things that you have to remember about starting a business is that not everything is going to be cut and dried, and not everything is going to work as you planned. This means that running a home business sometimes requires you to go out side of your comfort zone and to do some things that you might not usually do.

Be Brave

The thing about starting a home business is that it can be very successful and you can see great things that come out of it, but you have to be brave enough to get started, and you have to have the guts to simply go for it, and to get it done. This is something that might be tricky for some people, because starting a home business can be rough going and because you aren’t guaranteed to be a success, some people might have trouble with it. This means that when you are the one starting a home business, you have to be the one who is brave enough to go outside of where you are comfortable, and be willing to take these risks to see what kind of business you can create.

Money

The biggest problem with starting out with a business is that you are going to need some money. If possible, you should try to work and save some money up before you venture out into your own home business. This might be tricky, because it is sometimes hard to save money, but if you can save some money up from a regular job, you might find it is much easier to start a business. Going outside of your comfort zone is often easier when you have a little bit of cash so you don’t’ have to worry about it.

The other thing that you can do to make going outside of your comfort zone easier is to find a way to have a good business plan. Even thought it might not always end up being exactly what you want it to be, you might find that a good business plan is a great way to help yourself have the courage to go for it and to take the risks that you have to take. When you are going out on your own to start your home business, a business plan can help you have the courage to go for it and to get stuff done.

Remember that this isn’t going to be easy, but if you can manage to go with the flow and to not stress out about things you cannot control, you might find out that you are able to deal with the uncertainty as you deal with many other things – and it might just be a good experience for you which allows you to learn, to grow, and to generally be a success in your life.

To your success,
